FRATELLI BARALE
Fratelli Barale is a traditional Piedmontese producer located right in the heart of Barolo. They make all the traditional varieties of the region. Fratelli means brother in Italian, but of of the Barale brothers died a while back. The surviving brother is Sergio who runs the family estate today. Sergio wanted to keep the family name, but he also has a line called Sergio Barale that he makes from the Fratelli fruit. While known for reds, the chardonnay might be the most impressive wine Barale makes—an incredibly pure expression with elegance and incredible flavor. There red wines are classically Barolo. Elegant, floral, and very pretty. They are a brand new producer for us.
