JACQUES BAVARD
Maison Jacques Bavard is a tiny negociant producer located in the town Puligny who comes from a long line of wine-growers, and is dedicated to working with organic and biodynamic vignerons. Sourcing fruit from Santenay, Auxey-Durèsses, St. Roman, Monthélie, Chassagne-Montrachet, Meursault, and Rully, his wines are characterized by a pureness of fruit and fresh acidity with both red and white wines. The entire portfolio has become one of the most dependable and trustworthy at K&L over the past few years as there is rarely a straggler in the bunch. The wines have rusticity, but they're more polished and precise than a number of earthier selections and are perfect for drinking in the short term.
