Muscadet from Le Pallet, one of the newly elevated crus of Sèvre-et-Maine — a family estate since the 1890s, organic since 2010.
The Bedouet family's history in Muscadet goes back to the 1890s, when Henri Bedouet created the estate. His grandson Michel took the reins in 1990, expanded the holdings and began converting to organic farming in 2010.
Le Pallet is in the heart of the Sèvre-et-Maine and is one of the region's newly elevated crus, and the Bedouet Muscadet from it is some of the most serious Melon de Bourgogne we carry — long on the lees, saline, built to age.
