Charles Père et Fille
A Volnay family domaine with roots to 1900, run today by Pascal Charles and his daughter Pauline — hence Père et Fille — across fourteen hectares of the Côte de Beaune.
The Charles family first planted vines in Burgundy in 1900. Pascal Charles joined his father François in 1980 and guided the domaine's modern evolution; today he runs it with his daughter Pauline, which is why the label now reads Père et Fille. The holdings cover roughly fourteen hectares in the Côte de Beaune.
The heart of the range is Volnay: the 1er Cru Fremiets and the Clos de la Cave, along with Hautes-Côtes de Beaune in both colours.
