Château Saint Jacques d'Albas

A Minervois estate restored by Graham Nutter, with Matisse-inspired labels — red, a rosé called La Chapelle en Rose and a white from the Coteaux de Peyriac.

Château Saint Jacques d'Albas is in the Minervois, in the garrigue hills between Carcassonne and the Mediterranean, where Graham Nutter restored a neglected estate into one of the appellation's references. The labels borrow from Matisse's late paper cutouts — bright organic forms that suit the wines' sunny side.

The Minervois red is the centrepiece; La Chapelle en Rose is the rosé, and Petit Saint Jacques the white from the Coteaux de Peyriac.
