Dérot-Delugny
The oldest grower-producer in the western Marne valley — a century of making their own wine from Pinot Meunier, in the grape's natural home.
The western valley of the Marne is Meunier country, and the Dérot family have been making their own Champagne there for a hundred years, longer than any other grower in the sub-region. Their Blanc de Noirs is aptly named Milieu Naturel: Meunier in its natural environment, from a family that never sold out to the big houses.
It is an outstanding value in grower Champagne and was the number one seller at our "Misunderstood Meunier" tasting. The range also includes a Brut Rosé, Bissextile, and the vintage cuvée Brève Histoire du Temps.
