Domaine Cécile Chassagne

Cécile Chassagne's vineyard lies at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail, the jagged limestone ridge that defines Gigondas, just above the village of Séguret on its rock outcrop over the Rhône valley. The Gigondas is 70 per cent Grenache with 15 each of Mourvèdre and Syrah.

A short, warm fermentation gives a fruity wine with the structure of the cru; it is the only wine we import from her and it needs no company.
