Domaine de l'Amandine
Séguret, the hilltop village beside Gigondas, from an estate founded in 1968 and now run by its founder's son-in-law.
Domaine de l'Amandine was established in 1968 by Jean-Pierre Verdeau, following his family's tradition of winemaking in the Rhône. He still works the vineyards and is joined now by his son-in-law Alex Suter, whose father managed the vineyards at Rustenberg in South Africa.
The Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages Séguret is the wine we import: Grenache-based, from the slopes beneath one of the prettiest villages in the valley.
