Domaine des Carlines is in Château-Chalon, the hilltop village that gives its name to the greatest of the Jura's vins jaunes. The range covers the Jura's two faces: fresh Poulsard and the Chardonnay-Savagnin blend La Vouivre on one side, and on the other the Voile de Chardonnay, aged under a veil of yeast in the oxidative tradition.
Golden apple and white flowers, a nutty mid-palate, dried fruit on the finish — the Jura in a glass, imported directly.
