Domaine des Sénéchaux is among the oldest estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and since 2006 it has belonged to the Cazes family of Château Lynch-Bages in Pauillac. The style is hedonistic: super-rich, layers of glycerin and fruit, a nose like a Provençal open-air market, charcuterie, spice box and cedar — the 2010 took 95 points.
The white Châteauneuf is a serious wine in its own right.
