Domaine du Vieil Orme
A Touraine domaine dating to 1804, sustainably farmed by Laurent Benoist since 2009 — Sauvignon Blanc first, from the Chenonceaux hills.
Domaine du Vieil Orme is a family estate dating to 1804 in the tiny village of St-Julien-de-Chédon, near Chenonceaux in the Touraine. Laurent Benoist has been at the helm since 2009, focusing on sustainable farming and pure, terroir-driven wines; Touraine's flexibility lets him plant a wider range of grapes than the more formal appellations around it.
The Touraine Sauvignon Blanc is the mainstay; Inphini is the Touraine-Chenonceaux cru bottling.
