Domaine Gondard-Perrin

Domaine Gondard-Perrin is in Viré-Clessé, the Mâconnais appellation whose Chardonnay has a honeyed roundness the rest of the Mâcon rarely matches. The Cuvée Symphonie blends nine terroirs in the south of the village and spends eighteen months on its fine lees in stainless steel.

Orange blossom and light strawberry on the nose, a slightly honeyed texture, fine acidity, orange rind and quince on the finish: simple and delightful, as the critic said.
