K&L's first ever national exclusive Calvados comes from Domaine Hubert, a small estate in Normandy run by Astrid Hubert, who is quite a character and a go-getter.
Having taken over her father's property in recent years, she wants to modernize the package of the bottles and make the character of the spirit more elegant. A feminine style, you might say. " she exclaimed when we first met her. Her apple brandies are light and clean, with fresh apple flavors, but without the heavier flavors of wood and earth that sometimes over power the spirit.
