Domaine Joliet

Domaine Joliet owns the Clos de la Perrière, the walled premier cru that is Fixin's leading vineyard, as a monopole — the whole site, since the 19th century. It is a very refined and serious example of Côte de Nuits Pinot Noir: richness, velvet tannins, finesse and classic aromas, with 25 per cent new oak and two years' ageing seamlessly integrated.

The wines drink well young and age for many years; we have had library vintages from 1959, 2003 and 2012 on the shelf alongside the current release.
