Domaine Lamarche in Vosne-Romanée owns one of Burgundy's great monopoles, the grand cru La Grande Rue, which runs between La Tâche and Romanée-Conti. Around it are premiers crus of the first rank — Malconsorts, Les Chaumes — and village wines that are unmistakably Vosne.
Burghound describes the house style well: elegant and aromatically interesting, a spicy nose of black fruit, soy, anise and hoisin, rich and persistent. We have carried vintages back to 1990.
