Pommard from Anne Parent — long a favourite of Gary Westby, who drank them on the best wine lists in Champagne before he brought them to K&L.
Domaine Parent is one of the old names of Pommard, run by Anne Parent. Gary Westby had drunk the wines for years on the best lists in Champagne, with dishes like pigeon en croûte that suit the blood-making Beaune style of the house, before he met Anne in 2015 and arranged to import them directly.
The range centres on Pommard: the village La Croix Blanche, and the premiers crus Les Epenots and Argillières.
