Honorío Rubio

Honorío Rubio is a white-wine specialist in a land best known for its age-worthy reds. Among many die-hards, it is the traditional whites that represent Rioja's finest and most original wines, and outside of López de Heredia, whose whites grow harder to find every year, and the odd older bottle of Ygay Blanco, they are tough to track down. That is why we import Rubio's.

The Lías Finas Blanco spends years on its fine lees; the Añadas Saca is a solera-style blend of vintages drawn and bottled as a saca, in the old manner; Aaron is the red, a Garnacha. All of it comes to us directly from the bodega.
