The Thibon family's biodynamic farm on the Ardèche side of the Rhône, theirs since 1670 — olives, gardens, horses and Côtes-du-Rhône.
The Thibon family acquired the Libian property in 1670, and in 1970 Jean-Pierre Thibon decided to devote it wholly to wine. The estate now has 25 hectares of vines and eight hectares of nourishing land — olive trees, vegetable and flower gardens, grains — that support its organic and biodynamic farming; horses work the vineyards.
Bout d'Zan, Calade and Khayyam are the Côtes-du-Rhônes, each from a different part of the hill.
