Bordeaux Newsletter: New Arrivals and an En Primeur Campaign

One of the things we do best at K&L is Bordeaux, and our Bordeaux Buyer/co-owner Clyde Beffa is the reason why. After nearly forty years of travel to the region, he knows the people and the châteaux like the back of his hand. Today’s newsletter is chock-full of new arrivals, stellar bargains, blue chip icons, and oldies but goodies. Whether you’re looking to pick up a great under-$20 bottle of the 2016 Haut-Vigneau, made by the owners of Château Carbonnieux, or a magnum of the 100-point 2016 Cos d’Estournel for your cellar, we’ve got a bottle for you. Don’t have a cellar? One of our specialties is bringing you pristinely aged, ready-to-drink bottles from older vintages. We have two sub-$40 options from the 1999 vintage in the Vieux Robin a from Médoc and the Franc Mayne from St-Emilion—examples of well-matured wines with over 20 years of age. Bordeaux-curious and Bordeaux-philes alike will find much to fall in love with on our shelves.

For more Bordeaux amour, join Clyde for a Facebook Live Happy Hour on Tuesday, May 18 at 4:30 PM. He’ll be popping corks and talking about his many travels and friendships along the way. Follow us on Facebook @klwines and join in!
