The Thompson brothers from Dornoch, Scotland are revolutionizing the industry with their renowned whisky bar and a distillery pushing single malt limits. Next-Level Swedish Gin Discoveries
Getting these incredible Swedish gins from Hernö to K&L was all initiated by our collaboration with Four Pillars, the Australian gin producer we've partnered with since 2016. The Dry Island Gin, their creation with Hernö instantly instantly made an impression on spirits buyer Andrew Whiteley, which spurred him to explore Hernö’s production in Härnösand, Sweden. Although the pandemic delayed the tasting of their gins, they ultimately delivered an impressive balance of pure, potent, and vibrant flavors. Numerous accolades, including IWSC's Best Dry Gin and Best Gin Distillery, further confirmed Hernö’s quality. Despite legal challenges with U.S. laws regarding their 500ml format, Hernö hand-bottled our shipment in 700mls. Finally, after years of anticipation, their gin is exclusively on K&L’s shelves.
