Pair Your Bird with the Best Brandy from France
The world might still be griping about inflation, but here at K&L we’re actively lowering prices like never before. You need to pay attention to our new product feed for most of the craziest deals, although certain special products have been held back from marketing due to my desire to have interesting, affordable products for the holiday season. No telling how long they’ll last, but right now we’ve got an incredible array of fall flavors from some of France’s finest brandy producers. Take a look at this incredible array of special products that we were perfectly happy to sell at full price, but MUCH happier to sell at ridiculous discounts.
1972 Domaine Dupont Vintage Calvados Pays d'Auge (750ml) (Elsewhere $500) $199.99 The wonderful Domaine Dupont in the most prized region of Pays d’Auge delivers some of the highest quality Calvados available. They have the best stuff and therefore charge appropriately; yet here we have this incredible vintage for less than half MSRP.
1988 Domaine Dupont Vintage Calvados Pay d'Auge (750ml) (Elsewhere $250) $159.99 Another stupendous value from Dupont—this impeccable Calvados from Domaine Dupont. The 1988 is soft and succulent showing a complex array of fresh apple and cooked apple with an otherwordly texture.
Paul Giraud X.O. Grande Champagne Cognac (750ml) (Elsewhere $130) $99.99 Paul Giraud is a small grower producer in Grande Champagne in the town of Bouteville. He quietly makes some of the finest Cognac available under his own label from the 35-acre estate. The production is extremely traditional and the quality shows with every sip.
Paul Giraud Tres Rare Grande Champagne Cognac (750ml) (Elsewhere $400) $200 Paul Giraud's Tres Rare bottling is 50-year-old Grande Champagne Cognac. It's a stunning example of power and finesse from the greatest region in Cognac. Add to that the lack of artificial color and sweetener, and you've got one of the best bottles in the store for a fraction of the price of the big Cognac houses.
Baron de Lustrac 25 Year Old Brut de Fût Bas Armagnac (750ml) (Previously $90) $60 Here's a 25-year-old Armagnac from a legendary house for less than $90. Oh, did we mention that it's also cask strength, or "Brut de Fût," as the French call it? After 25 years that means it's only 42.4%, but the concentration is evident. This is an elegant and approachable style from the big name in Magnan, but remains complex and authentic. An incredible value even compared to all the wonderful and competitively priced Armagnacs that we've brought in directly.
