Great Burgundy Wines Are More Affordable Than Ever

This week’s newsletter is devoted to Burgundy, and, as K&L Burgundy Buyer Alex Pross puts it, “We have never had this many great, affordable Burgundy wines to sell you.” Tariffs have finally been removed, value-driven regions such as the Mâcon are over-producing in quality-to-price ratio, and our Direct Import winemakers continue to produce insanely good wines way under market price.

With multiple containers just landing, we find ourselves with a wealth of in-stock gems to share. Our late August newsletter covers everything from under-the-radar finds in Cru Beaujolais to 1er Cru reds and whites from some of the most compelling terroirs in the region. We are also thrilled with the 2019 Burgundy vintage, a brilliant year for whites and a landmark, not-to-be-missed vintage for reds. Some of the first wines have arrived, but like we detail with the example of the incredible Faiveleys, these are wines you're going to want to lock down as early as possible. For the Burgundy enthusiast and novice alike, this newsletter provides a treasure trove of affordable, outstanding wines.
