People Want Great Scotch at Great Prices!

2025 has been one of the most challenging and rewarding years for our spirits customers. We’ve fought against the tide to create new opportunities and renew old alliances, and the result is one of the most compelling selections of spirits anywhere in the world. From our hand-selected single malts to small-batch mezcal, no store anywhere in the world can claim to be creating more value for their customers. For the holidays this year, we celebrate a newly minted whisky season with an impeccable lineup of 10 single casks of Scotch from our dear friends at Douglas Laing in Glasgow. The wonderful and historic bottler has never failed to bring exciting casks to market, but we’ve turned up the value this year—fighting rising costs and bureaucratic delay to offer a wide variety of unique casks at market beating prices. These are some of the most unique and delicious barrels we’ve ever sourced from the storied bottler, and the prices send a message to the market at large: PEOPLE WANT GREAT SCOTCH AT GREAT PRICES!

2014 Benrinnes 11 Year Old "Old Particular" K&L Exclusive Single Cask Strength 1st Fill Sherry Butt Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky $69.99 A splendid and complex sherry butt from the underappreciated Speyside gem. The rich, oily spirit has a special something thanks to the traditional worm tub condensers and pairs perfectly with the freshly filled sherry butt. An unheard-of price for a gorgeous dark, sherried stunner.

2010 Tormore 15 Year Old "Old Particular" K&L Exclusive First Fill Oloroso Sherry Butt Finished Cask Strength Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) $79.99 The Tormore distillery is one of Scotland’s most striking: its green copper roofs and stark white walls an homage to the beautiful stoic landscape. This dense sherry bomb spent several additional years in a first fill Oloroso sherry butt of the highest quality. The result, a deep fudge, dark fruit bomb of the highest order.

2013 Ben Nevis 12 Year Old "Old Particular" K&L Exclusive Refill Hogshead Cask Strength Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) $89.99 The iconic Ben Nevis distillery was once a secret, but now it’s a star. The Japanese-owned distillery sends the vast majority of its production to the Far East for blending purposes. Its robust nature and unique character soften even the harshest critic’s tone. This splendid cask is a true malt-forward expression and one of the most delectable malt driven barrels in the store today.

2012 Macduff 13 Year Old "Old Particular" K&L Exclusive First Fill Sherry Butt Cask Strength Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) $59.99 The still-little-known Macduff distillery is often marketed as “Glen Deveron,” but the owners don’t seem to care much for selling single malt. We certainly care about great sherry butts of well-aged whisky for under $60. This outrageous deal really shouldn’t exist in this day and age, but here we are. This monster cask clocks in at over 130 proof and offers huge intense flavors of sherry, oak, and malt. Any normal brand would demand easily double our price, but nothing is normal about this wild Macduff.

2014 Glen Garioch 11 Year Old "Old Particular" K&L Exclusive Single Refill Bourbon Barrel Cask Strength Highland Single Malt Whisky (750ml) $74.99 The fabulous distillery in the beautiful little hamlet of Old Meldrum is a staple on our shelves and every time we get it, we see a different side of the eastern Highland beauty. This is easily our best cask yet offering much more mature character, deeply developed fruit, and complex oak spice. Like most years this will be the sleeper—so many will return once they finally open it to grab more and be disappointed to see it’s gone. So get it now!

2013 Caol Ila 12 Year Old "Old Particular" K&L Exclusive Single Hogsheads Cask Strength Single Refill Hogshead Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) $79.99 Our pair of Caol Ilas seem to be similar but the two barrels couldn’t be more different. Never has the diversity of flavor from this storied distiller been on more obvious display than these two contrasting casks. The 12 year is wild, powerful green peppercorn, frehs savory smoke and roasting herbs.

2010 Caol Ila 14 Year Old "Old Particular" K&L Exclusive Single Hogsheads Cask Strength Single Refill Hogshead Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) $100 This barrel of Caol Ila shows the more refined and nuanced side of Caol Ila, offering classic notes of lemon oil and ocean spray balanced by dark ashy smoke. This complexity of flavor is absolutely unbelievable for the price.

2014 Bowmore 11 Year Old "Old Particular" K&L Exclusive Refill Bourbon Barrel Cask Strength Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) - $99.99 Islay’s most underappreciated distillery consistently offers some of the most exciting malt on the market if you buy it from an independent bottler. This beautiful barrel needs plenty of air and time to open up, but for the patient, you’ll get a complex array of exotic fruit and savory spice. This impeccable spirit is so deep and complex it simply cannot be ignored.

2012 Laphroaig 13 Year Old "Old Particular" K&L Exclusive Refill Bourbon Barrel Cask Strength Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) $100 The famous peaty beast of the south side of Islay is nothing if not controversial. Nobody who loves malt doesn’t have an opinion about Laphroaig. This beautiful barrel offers a beautiful contrast to the other five Islay malts we’ve got today. It’s not as clean and modern feeling as many distillery bottlings, instead offering a nuanced yet rugged side of this special distillery.

2007 Bruichladdich 18 Year Old "Old Particular" K&L Exclusive Single Cask Strength Refill Hogshead Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky (700ml) $225 The progressive Hebridean distiller, which has touched the hearts and minds of so many curious epicurean souls, is a true iconoclast. A non peaty Islay, it somehow retains its sense of place despite the lack of smoke. The rarity of old Bruichladdich, especially those which have not been obscured by some sort of special wine cask, is hard to overstate. Yet, the quality and deliciousness of this special malt is simply undeniable.
