For anything requiring quick turnaround, this is not a good option.
A solution for auction and collectible retail buyers involves getting your fine wine picked up and stored at a 3rd party wine storage facility. There are several who would love to work with you. K&L is happy to conduct a California transaction (with CA sales tax) and arrange for FREE pickup or delivery to your preferred storage facility. From there you can continue to store your bottles, or make additional arrangements with them. All those communications are between you and the storage business, we make no representation about what’s legal for you to do with your property.
In fact, we highly recommend you research these options first before ordering from us, so that you understand all the various costs and options available.
Once you’re set up with one of our storage partners, it’s a pretty simple process. Here’s how it goes:
Order online at KLWines.com and when it comes time to ship, enter the California address of your storage partner.
Choose “Hold for Approved Storage Partner” as your shipping option, which will have a $0 shipping cost.
Your order will be picked up or delivered to the Approved Storage Partner at our next available opportunity, and then it’s between you and them at that point.
In the Order Comments section, enter any additional info you have related to your storage partner, to facilitate a faster handoff.
