St. George Spirits

St. George Spirits has been distilling in Alameda since 1982, when Jörg Rupf started making eaux-de-vie from California fruit, and it has since become one of the country's most respected distilleries: gins, absinthe, fruit brandies and the single malt whiskey that Lance Winters and Dave Smith have refined over decades.

Because they are across the bay from us, our spirits buyers can taste through their warehouse and select exclusive casks and bottlings for K&L — the single malt in particular. Those come and go; the core range is always on our shelves.
