Uberti
A family estate in Erbusco, in the heart of Franciacorta — traditional-method sparkling wine from the hills above Lake Iseo, new to the K&L direct import program.
Uberti is one of the historic family houses of Franciacorta, in Erbusco, the village at the centre of the appellation on the moraine hills south of Lake Iseo. Agostino and Eleonora Uberti, and now the next generation, make their sparkling wines from estate Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco by the traditional method, with long ageing on the lees.
The Francesco I cuvées — Brut, Extra Brut and Rosé — are the wines we import directly: the Brut for everyday elegance, the Extra Brut drier and more mineral, the Rosé from Pinot Nero. They are the first Franciacorta in the Italian direct import program.
