And Just Like That.... Tastings Are Back!
We opened our tastings last week with Bordeaux on Friday and California/Oregon Pinot on Saturday. It was a thrill to see everyone back in our tasting bars!
One of the things we prize most at K&L is connection—we love the person-to-person factor of connecting with customers as they plan for a special meal, celebrate a big event, or just want to wander down the path of wine geekery that the staffers know and love so well. The pandemic certainly changed many things, and we’re lucky we’ve been able to reopen stores and see all our wonderful customers in person again. But, there’s been one thing missing… customer tastings! Customers have asked for them, staff have asked for them… they’re a core part of K&L, and we’ve missed them terribly. We love pouring you a taste of something we’re really jazzed about and telling you why we think it’s special. We love hearing your thoughts and discovering what makes a wine special to you. It’s a wine lover’s dream, and, finally!, we’re able to bring them back to our stores.
But the wait is over: customer tastings are back! As we head into the end of 2022, we are celebrating with a full roster of tastings, with lineups that reach high into the top shelf. All tastings are walk in, with details below.
This week, we’re pouring Loire Valley on Friday, Nov 11, and Burgundy on Saturday, Nov 12.
