2024 Domaine Joseph Colin: His Best Wines Yet

Winner of 1 Michelin Grape

The 2024s from Domaine Joseph Colin are the finest wines of his career—that's the verdict not just of the winemaker himself but of Jasper Morris and Allen Meadows, two of Burgundy's most authoritative critics. The full range is available pre-arrival at K&L, from St-Aubin 1er Cru at $109.99 to a 96-point Chassagne-Montrachet "En Caillerets" and Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru.

What the critics are saying

"[Joseph Colin] in my opinion has made his best wines yet." — Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy

"I would agree with Colin that his 2024s are indeed some of the best wines that I have seen from him." — Allen Meadows, Burghound

Burgundy's next great Colin

Joseph Colin is the younger brother of Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey and son of Marc Colin—white Burgundy royalty by any measure. Like his brother before him, Joseph worked at the family domaine until 2017, when he established his own winery with inherited vineyard holdings that include top-flight St-Aubin and Chassagne-Montrachet sites along with prized Grand Cru parcels.

The family resemblance shows in the glass: taut, fresh, bright, minerally-driven classical white Burgundies that age gracefully while displaying real power and depth. But Joseph is no understudy—these are masterfully crafted wines with their own signature, and in the stunning 2024 white Burgundy vintage, they've reached a new level. For collectors who watched PYCM's prices triple over the past decade, Joseph Colin is the compelling opportunity: the same DNA, the same villages, a fraction of the price—for now.
