Matt Duncan and Silver Oak's Unique Oak Barrels

Matt Duncan is the third generation at Silver Oak Cellars, the iconic California winery that has been championing the relationship between Cabernet Sauvignon and American Oak for over 40 years. Matt took time out of life with a brand new baby to show us their famed barrels and tell us a bit more about what goes into making them. The barrelmaking process is as essential to Silver Oak as the winemaking process--two labors of love that complement each other to create the final, delicious product: Cabernet!
