Wines our buyers believe are the truest expressions of their region or vintage, made with producers we have known for years and sold under our own label — so that a classified-growth Pauillac, a Monforte Barolo or a library Montepulciano d’Abruzzo can be yours for a fraction of what the name on the bottle would cost.
Every wine starts with a buyer’s trip: a year of tasting through Bordeaux, a tank spotted in a Gigondas cellar, a library of mature Abruzzo. The producers are partners we have worked with for years, often decades.
The estate keeps its name off the bottle, so it can sell us the wine without touching its own market. We get a wine that could come from nowhere else; you get it at a price its name would never allow.
Each label and page explains the appellation, the grape, the soils and the vintage. The masterclass sets put three wines from one region side by side, with the reading to go with them.
